You have been selected to participate in a private beta program for a new web application we have developed called BeGreen. This website www.begreennow.com/beta allows you to calculate the amount of carbon (CO2) that you create annually as an individual. Once calculated, you will be able to purchase renewable energy credits to “offset” your yearly carbon emissions. Find out more about this process here. The objective of the website is to offset all of your carbon emissions and to become a carbon neutral citizen.
This is a limited beta test, so your participation is very important to us. The one [1] week testing period will end on Wednesday, October 4, 2006. You should be able to review the application in 20-30 minutes; However, we encourage you to use the system for as long as you would like. Please note: A test credit card number will be automatically generated during the check out process. This charge is for test purposes only and will not count towards a real purchase of offset credits.
How to sign up:
- Go to: www.begreennow.com/beta
- Click on the blue Get Started button on the right side of the screen
- Complete the sign up form and make sure to use the email address associated with this notification
- Proceed to the login page and enter your email address and password
- Begin calculating your carbon footprint
Go ahead and navigate the website and see what kind of trouble you can get into. If you have any problems, please use the submit feedback button on the top left side of the screen or email us at support@begreennow.com. We suggest trying some of the following tasks:

- Change your profile settings
- Review the Tool Kit page
- Check out the public pages such as: Tour and Learn About
- Please remember to use the “submit feedback” button on the top left of each page to report any issues that you notice.
We will stay in touch with updates and new features during the course of the beta test. Remember, the testing period will close on Wednesday October 4th, so please try to submit your feedback as quickly as possible. If we choose to extend the beta period for any reasonm, we will notify you promptly.
